Among the rigidity increase parts, the pillar bar is extremely popular. It is a reinforcing part of the rear gate opening, which is the weak point of hatchback cars.
The conventional shaft diameter of 20φ was changed to 25φ in order to obtain further rigidity. In the stiffness test, we achieved a 128% increase in strength (our bending test value).
Even if the diameter is thicker, the hollowness rate is also increased, so the weight is the same as the conventional product!
SPL gold baking coating is applied to resist rust and improve the strength of the painted surface.
