The ASM Rear Wing -09 is designed specifically to complement the aerodynamic balance of the ASM full aero kit. It is designed for Time Attack use on ASM Car No.1 at Fuji Motor Speedway. Width is 1430mm with an increased depth over previous rear wings. The wing is center mounted on the trunk for reduced drag so a reinforced trunk designed specifically for this wing is included. Reference weight 6.1 kg.
ASM Dry Carbon and Fiberglass products are designed and produced at the Challenge Technology Center in Japan. They are produced with the same approach to dry carbon products as OEM to many major Japanese car manufacturers using advanced manufacturing methods with pre-impregnated carbon materials. Design and production involve the use of CAD modeling, cutting plotters, 5-axis 3-D mills, high-pressure autoclaves, and water mills.
