ASM Rear Lower Arm Bar GT - S2000 AP1/2
$680.00
SKU
ASM-AP100170
Cannot be used on 2006-2009 USDM S2000 models.
Replaces the factory rear lower tie bar. Reduces excessive movement of the subframe for increased road holding efficiency. The GT Lower Arm Bar connects the rear subframe to the chassis by attaching to the seat bolts. The rear tire feel can be transmitted to the driver. Most exhausts are compatible, but some mufflers may interfere.
Note: Does not include attachment points for the fuel evap canisters on USDM cars. Slight retrofitting is required using ties.
All ASM GT Series Reinforcement Bars are hand-made in Japan by Succeed Sports. Succeed Sports is led by Ichikawa-San who is the chief engineer of the record setting ASM Tsukuba Special Time Attack Car. He was also a race engineer at Mugen before the M-Tec transition and was involved with JGTC projects such as the Mugen Takata Dome NSX. Each GT Front Tower Bar is hand made by a master craftsman at Succeed Sports from the highest grade polished stainless steel from Japan. All the torched colors and marks have been left naturally by the process of hand bending by torch or welding by hand. They’re not simply color treated for show. The bars are finished and polished before assembly so all the natural colors from the manufacturing process can be seen, and nothing is hidden or ground away. The entire manufacturing process of each bar takes 4 hours so only 2 can be produced per day. Many ASM GT series bars hold design patents to protect their innovative designs.
